Celebrate food in literature and books as we raise needed funds and food for the WSFP at Words of Windsor on May 9th. 20% of all purchases made at Words of Windsor (631 Birch St., Unit B) on 5/9 will be donated to the WSFP and food donations will be collected for the Pantry.

Door Prizes and Book Swaps (6pm to 8pm)

Join us from 6pm to 8pm for book swapping, door prizes, refreshments, and fun. Specialty lemonade and coffee will be served alongside light snacks; bring your own adult drinks such as wine to enjoy while you shop.

We will be drawing for door prizes throughout the evening, with donations from Words of Windsor, The Human Bean, and Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. A door prize ticket will be given to everyone who comes, as well as:

• 5 food items to donate

• A book to swap

• Sign up for our email list

• Each $15 spent at Words of Windsor between 6pm and 8pm

What is a Book Swap?

A book swap is a wonderful way to find a new read! Bring a used (or new) book to join in the fun (books need not be food themed). We’ll begin by telling everyone about our books, and then the actual book swap will begin. Everyone will draws a number to determine what order they swap books in. The person with #1 chooses a book first, but Person #2 and on can steal a book that has already been chosen or pick a new one. (When a book is stolen, that person gets to select another book). The swapping is quite fun, and everyone will go home with a new-to-them book!
